Interpretation on Matthew 24 – part one

Kinglee December 12, 2020

Dear listeners, I am very glad that I have the opportunity to continue to reason with you about the Word of God. And rejoice with you. Today we begin our discussion of “Interpretation of the 24th chapter of the Gospel of Matthew.” As I promised you, and I hope you have read this chapter carefully. Especially until verse thirty-two. The topic “ Israel and the Church in the Last Time ” that you discussed is very closely related to this chapter 24.Therefore, you will gain a wide outlook in distinguishing between Israel and the Church in the latter days. I inform you that the full text of this topic is in the “Articles” section. So, we begin our discussion of this chapter.

When in Mt. 23:38 The Lord says: “ Behold, your house is forsaken to you empty ,“ then in His heart He was already separated not only from the house of God (from the visible temple), but also from the house of Israel. Before that, the Lord spoke about “Mine” or “the house of the Father” (John 14: 2).

And here He is talking about “your” home! It was no longer His house. Here we see a departure from visible things. If the Lord was no longer there, then how, if not empty, he could still be! Here, like the Laodicean church, the Lord stood outside at the door.

With the Lord’s departure from the temple, the favor of God the Father also receded: “ This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased ” (Matthew 17: 5). That which is unworthy in the eyes of men often bears the seal of the favor of our heavenly Father. Characteristic is the fact that after this utterance the Lord no longer entered the temple! [Audio mp3 = “With the Lord’s departure from the temple, the favor of God the Father also receded:” This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased “(Matthew 17: 5 ). That which is unworthy in the eyes of men often bears the seal of the favor of our heavenly Father. Characteristically, after this utterance, the Lord no longer entered the temple!

Already here began the spiritual separation between the then people of Israel and its Masses and her, between the visible temple on the one hand and the spiritual temple on the other. We especially see the abandonment of this temple in Matthew 24: 1 “ And Jesus went out from the temple ”. In addition, this act shows his impending change.

As our visible body, about which Paul in 1 Corinthians 6:19 says that this body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, so the visible body of the Lord Jesus is a temple that must be destroyed and abandoned by the Lord (John 2:20).

Just as the temple of Nehemiah (which Jesus visited) was left without Masses and a dead building, so the Son of God in flesh and in union with our sins was absolutely dead on the cross. From the time that a new, spiritual temple was created on the 3rd day, which indicates the resurrection of Christ, all those who are saved are his living stones. “ But the decrepit and aging is close to destruction ” (Hebrews 8:13).

Therefore, in accordance with Matthew 24: 2, the old temple should not have a stone unturned! In the 70th year after the birth of Christ, the old temple was destroyed. Already in about the 33rd year, P.R. Christ a new spiritual temple was created (on the third day). And since it is a new temple, it is not destroyed, but created.

To the students’ question: “ When will it be? “We have the answer starting from the 3rd verse. From the subsequent explanations of this chapter, we can clearly understand who the Lord is talking about here: about the Church or about Israel. The “ sign of your coming ” called in the 3rd verse unambiguously proves that we are talking here about the 2nd coming of Jesus.

The second coming because He will again set foot on earth for the purpose of judgment, and taking into account His stay on earth as the Mass and and, this will be His third appearance. His coming for the Church with the purpose of her rapture does not know any catechumens before His appearance (1 Cor. 15:51; 1 Thess. 4:16; Heb. 9:28).

Let’s take a look at the facts, from which we see that we are talking about Israel:

1 . When He appears for the Bride, He will not set foot on earth, for He will not appear for judgment. And if these signs are valid only for Jews, then we can see that in this place the Bible speaks only of Israel.

2 . The opposition of “you” and “the nations” mentioned in Article 9 can only refer to Israel, since in the entire Bible we do not find a comparison: “Church” and “nations”, and the comparison between “Israel” and “Gentiles” is repeated several times.

3 . The salvation described in v. 13 is not connected with grace, but with works: “endure”! This can only concern Israel in the 70th week according to Daniel 9 and in no way concerns the Church! According to the prophecy, Israel should be punished for 490 years, of which 383 he has already served.

The punishment was interrupted by an insertion on the path of salvation – the time of grace, that is, two thousand years, which are not taken into account for Israel. After the rapture of the Bride, Israel’s punishment will continue for exactly 7 years, and with it the judgment over the whole world.

4 . In v. 14 it says about the gospel of the kingdom that it has nothing to do with us (the Church) during the time of grace. The (Greek) original literally reads like this: “The Gospel of the Kingdom of the Kingdom, which points to the 1000 year kingdom and primarily concerns Israel.

For Israel has an earthly promise and these 144,000 (the remnant of Israel) will enter the 1000 year Kingdom from Israel. We live today during the Gospel of the grace of God in accordance with Acts 20:24, where it is said: “ But I do not look at anything and do not value my life, if only I could happily complete my course and ministry (as an apostle to the Gentiles), which I received from the Lord Jesus, to preach the gospel of the grace of God . ”

5 . In accordance with v. 20, you need to pray that your ” flight ” does not happen in winter. Flight, as salvation, was given not to the Church of Jesus, but to Israel in accordance with Rev. 12: 6, where the wife (Israel) must flee into the wilderness! In no place in the Bible does the Word of God speak of “the flight of the Church.”

6 . At the end of v. 20, the Sabbath is mentioned, which always stands in connection with Israel and never with the Church. The Holy Word never knew Saturdays for the Church. Unless only Adventism, which, however, is not the teaching of the Word of God.

7 . The “elect” in v. 22 are by no means the children of God of the time of grace, who, thanks to the salvation of their souls, are so dear to the Lord. Here, first of all, we are talking about the salvation of the flesh, which also applies only to Israel and its remnant.

8 . The “great signs and wonders” mentioned in v.24 should, if possible, deceive the elect of Israel. That these events do not belong to the time of grace, but to the 70th week is absolutely clear from the messages of 2 Thess. 2. After the personified revelation of the antichrist, Satan will create lies through him “with all power and signs” (v. 9). According to the utterance of the Word, the Antichrist will not have an encounter with the Church !!

9 . Since, in accordance with v. 27, the coming of Jesus is compared with lightning, then we are talking about a sign of judgment. The church will not be raptured through judgment or judgment. However, in accordance with Scripture, Israel will still be judged (not to be confused with the Last Judgment after the 1000 year Kingdom).

10 . The “Son of Man” mentioned in v. 27 is the self-determination of Jesus and has to do with Israel only. The Lord does not appear to the Church as the Son of Man.

Of the 10 points mentioned above, the explanation is clear and understandable that the 24th chapter of the Gospel of Matthew contains, without exception, only the scope of Israel. It is absolutely impossible for the Church to be judged in this way, for then salvation on the cross of Calvary would be imperfect, and we ourselves would have to deserve the remainder of our salvation !!

How imperfect such interpretations are, we see already from John 5:24: “He who hears My Word and believes in Him who sent Me has eternal life and does not come into judgment .” (Not to be confused with 2 Corinthians 5:10, where all the children of God will appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ.) Many interpreters, in contrast to this biblical interpretation, are not trying to throw the Church into judgment by not washing so by rolling.

Seven main points of events in the 1st half of the 70th WEEK

The 1st half (3.5 years) corresponds to the white horse in Revelation 6: 1-2.

The first main point is found in Matthew 24: 5 called “false christs” . In the name of our Lord, many will say: “I am the Christ.” What audacity must fill the people destined for the judgment of those days in order to attain this kind of affirmation. We recognize the final phase of all false statements in the appearance of the Antichrist or “near-Christ”, since from the Greek language: “anti” in translation into Russian. lang. means “about”.

At the end of the entire crisis, the Antichrist will sit in the temple and say that he is God (2 Thess. 2: 4). The expression “Naos teos” is characteristic, where the word “temple” is used in the Russian text. “Naos teos” is also found in 2 Cor.6: 16, where this temple is spoken of in relation to believers. An important place, which is the reason for further work on the Bible.

Impacts: ” and will seduce many. ” “ Tell us ” the disciples of Jesus ask in verse 3, “ when will it be ?” First of all, it seems that the Lord does not even dwell on this question of the disciples and in verse 4 answers: “ beware, lest anyone deceive you! “Yes, the deception in the future tense of judgment will be the greatest in all areas of life.

This means that through false christs, deception will especially penetrate into the religious sector. And we are responsible in the time of grace if we allow ourselves to be deceived. Jesus’ word “beware!” Expresses our responsibility. In this expression He addresses all of us – the children of God.

The second main point is contained in Article 6 , which reads : “about wars and rumors of war” . The more we come to the end of the time of grace, the more often wars will happen. If we pose the question: where do wars come from, then the Apostle James answers us in Chapter 4: 1 “ from your lusts ”.

Therefore, the source of wars lies in lust . However, what lusts does the Word speak of here? This is the passion of domination and power over others ! Lust shows the desire for more power, so that through wars, in an egocentric way, give in to the passions of the flesh and possess what people do not belong at all. Already in the Old Testament this is absolutely foreseen by God’s law: ” do not covet your neighbor …”

Thus, when the Lord created man, God gave him the task of only “taking possession of the earth” (Gen. 1:28). War is the main tool for subjugating others and dominating one’s own kind.

The tradition of this development, displeasing to God, is laid down in the image of Satan. This, once the chief cherubim, exalted himself above people and through sins began to rule over the likeness of God after he longed to be above God ( Isaiah 14 : 13-14) and said: “I will ascend to the cloudy heights, I will be like

To the Almighty “. Satan wanted equality with God. This is where emancipations (equalization) take place today. Therefore, every desire to take possession of what belongs to others comes from the source, which is Satan. And today’s equalization is to drink from Satan’s poisonous kitchen.

So, war is a form of the most merciless domination over other people in order to give an outlet to the demonic thirst for power (for example, Hitler, who was a spiritualist and signed an alliance with Satan with his blood). The highest level of warfare is manifested in the 2nd horseman Rev.6: 4 “ and that they should kill one another ”.

So, the primary source of wars lies in the egoism of carnal desire. The consequences according to Matthew 24: 6 must be “horrors”. Wars have dire consequences.

The remnant of Israel, however, is told not to be terrified. Therefore, there is a state in which, in the event of a war or news of a war, our hearts remain undaunted. The secret lies in looking upward. This – “looking up” – we meet for the first time in Israel in the wilderness, when a terrible plague with snakes broke out.

Those who received a snakebite had to look up at the “copper snake”. Whoever did this did not die. Whoever looks at the one who hangs on the cross of Calvary today receives the salvation of the soul during the time of grace.

In accordance with Luke 21:28, the remnant of Israel is already being told about the judgment in the 70th week: as soon as the signs indicated in this chapter begin to be fulfilled, then ” bow up and lift up your heads .” Both here and in the aforementioned case of judgment, deliverance and salvation is associated only with God. The time of judgment that lies before us will surpass in its horrors the highest measure of all past times.

The third main point is found in Article 7 and reads : “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom . “

When this prediction is fulfilled, the time of the judgment of God’s wrath will take place. The righteous Lord will not only allow the hand of one to rise to the other (Zech.14: 13), but even reach the point that the peoples of the earth will rise up against each other. Will fulfill the ancient thoughts of revenge! The hand of God’s grace will no longer hold back the nations.

All events in these years of God’s judgment over people will be completely controlled by the prince of this world. All this will lead to devastating consequences, from which people will languish (sigh) in fear and expectation that “ the sea will rustle and be disturbed ” (Luke 21: 25-26). As a result of the rebellion of one against the other, dire consequences will occur. The word of God reveals the terrible outcome of exaltation one above the other.

Let’s refer to several places in the Bible in this place. So in the first exaltation in Is.14: 13 we read: ” Higher than the stars of God I will exalt my throne. ” An anointed cherub once spoke this. To become great himself, he wanted to rise above everything. Subsequently, these qualities of Satan also became the property of man, that is, of us.

For: “Cain rose up against Abel his brother” (Gen. 4: 8). Since then, the entire human race has been in a struggle for exaltation and rebellion against God. The end result of self-exaltation we again find in the 70th week in accordance with 2 Thess. 2: 4, where the Antichrist will be exalted above all and will sit in the temple of God.

This will be the time about which Matthew 10:21 says that ” children will rise up against their parents and put them to death .” These predicted terrible days of the end times have begun today.

The consequences according to Matthew 24: 7 are: “famines, pestilences, earthquakes .”

a ) Due to the huge investment in weapons, the population of the world is already in need of bread. However, the catastrophe will increase to such a state when the worldwide famine proclaimed through the 3rd horseman in a short time will bury millions of people.

b ) The highest level of medical knowledge that we possess today is not abundantly blessed by God, because science does not give honor to God by appropriating it to itself. As it is written in Luke 21:11, in the years of judgment people will perish in millions. Scripture calls this mora in various places.

c ) Not only science, but also any ordinary person can establish that earthquakes and wars have greatly increased in recent years. These are all harbingers of great future earthquakes that are ultimately the language of God’s judgment.

The closer we get to the end, the more powerful the earth wobble will be, which will culminate in the 70th week. The characteristic earthquakes in Revelation 8: 5 will split the Mount of Eleon (Zech. 14: 4-5).

If we consider the place in Revelation 11:13, where 7000 people died, then we will find that in some cases, during today’s earthquakes, many more people die simultaneously. Therefore, the number “7000” is considered a symbolic number.

The three named judgments are the result of conceit (arrogance) and the exaltation of the people of the time of judgment. The definition of the Word of God in v. 8 is: “Yet this is the beginning of disease.” This means that all this will already take place in the 1st half of the 70th week, where the 1st rider is performing.

The 4th main point is v. 9 and shows us the calamity . When the New Testament speaks of disaster, it always means suffering in the name of Jesus or God. Here, the time of calamity is God’s judgment of wrath in the 70th week, or the so-called “year of temptation.” First of all, this judgment concerns Israel, and secondly – the Gentiles.

This judgment means condemnation of a person in the flesh, since Israel serves the living God in the flesh (he lives in the Old Testament, that is, by the law), but since a person with his service in the flesh cannot please God, then the flesh is doomed to condemnation. And this condemnation reads: Judgment according to the model of the Bible: “ First to Judah, then to Greeks ” (the Greek who symbolizes the Gentiles) – says the Lord through the mouth of the apostles (Rom. 1:16).

In relation to the predicted time of judgment, the prophet Jeremiah says in ch. 30: 7: “ This is a disastrous time for Jacob ” (And Jacob means: Jews without God, that is, all Jews except the remnant of 144,000). Because of the name “Israel,” the Jews lived all these centuries after Jesus in persecution and disaster.

Such a calamity as predicted to Israel for the whole world is not given to the Church of God !! Although for almost 2000 years there have been isolated and sometimes massive persecutions of Christians, which were observed only in certain countries and at times, but these persecutions can never be considered in connection with Israel.

That was the end of my time, until next time.
