INTERRUPTION: Musicians and other people show up as #EndSARS protest continues its second day in France.

The #EndSARS protest in France kicked off on a second day when two prominent Nigerian musicians in the country joined in the riots.

Popular musicians, Negoboi and C-Mi, joined dozens of their compatriots in a European country on Saturday morning to take to the streets to demand an end to police brutality and justice for victims of rights violations by officials’ Anti-Robbery Special Squad has now been disbanded police of Nigeria.

According to the participant, Mr. Olorunfemi Deji, who spoke to the Sahara Reporter, they are calling not only for the demolition of SARS and the dissolution of the newly formed Special Police Armaments and Tactics Unit, but also for better governance in Nigeria.

He said: “We are protesting against #EndSARS, #EndSWAT, #Endpolicebrutality, #ReformNigeriaPolice, #FixNigeria, #Fixthealthcaresystem.

“Nigeria is currently in turmoil, we are not happy with this, and so we went out to support the country’s demands for full reform. This is outside the scope of #EndSARS. “

On Friday, protesters outside the Nigerian embassy in the Victor Hugo neighborhood in Paris called on Police Inspector General Mohammed Adama to step down immediately due to oversight of a failed police agency.

They also called for the resignation of President Muhammad Bukhari due to the country’s insecurity and the poor state of Nigeria’s economy, resulting in massive job losses for citizens.
