Irate Mob sets fire to three suspected thieves in the Delta (graphic photos)

On Tuesday morning, December 8, three suspected gunmen were roasted alive in Warri, Delta State.

It was discovered that two members of a three-man robbery gang were seized after robbing a house on Emeberin Street at about 2 am and set on fire along Okumagba Avenue at the Emebiren junction.

The landlord reportedly sounded the alarm and a group of local security officials took action, arresting the robber suspects. However, an angry mob came out and beat the suspects before setting them on fire.

According to an eyewitness, the third suspect was later caught on Ojabugbe Street, along the Okumagba Road, where he was also beaten and set on fire by an angry mob.

Warri’s B-Division Police Officer, CSP Benjamin Igometi, confirmed the incident to Vanguard via phone chat.

“They only called me now when robbers attacked the area, grabbed them and lynched them. This is what I heard. “
He said.
