“It is strange that Sheikh Gumi finds bandits, shepherds’ hideouts, but the army and the police cannot” – Reno
Police, military and other security personnel in Nigeria have come under fire from former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan Rino Omokri.
Reno, in a brief statement, asked how renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Abubakar Gumi was able to locate and photograph with the bandits and shepherds, while the Nigerian army and police were unable to locate their various locations.
Revealing this on Saturday via his Facebook account, Omokri said the military and police could easily find the eastern security network, ESN, which does not kill but cannot detect shepherds and bandits who have abducted, raped and killed innocent Nigerians. He said he was surprised that figures such as Zamfara State Governor Bello Matavalle and Aminu Masari of Katsina State negotiated with the bandits, but Nigerian soldiers and police were unable to find their positions. Read his statement below:
“How is it possible that Sheikh Gumi can jump into the forests of Zamfara and Niger and find where there are bloodthirsty bandits and shepherds, but neither the Nigerian army nor the Nigerian police is able to detect and exterminate them?” But they can find them and identify ESNs that don’t kill. Sheikh Gumi was photographed with the bandits. Governor Masari negotiated with them.
Governor Mutawale is meeting with them. ”It seems that everyone has access to bloodthirsty bandits and shepherds, except for our army and police. They just know how to find and kill ESN! “
