An international company specializing in the engineering, production and supply of liquefied petroleum gas, liquefied natural gas and industrial gases and related storage and transportation equipment, Euro LPG BV Holland has expressed an interest in building gas plants in the state of Kogi.

The president of the company, Dr. Wahaab Abdullah, revealed this on Saturday during a visit to the governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello.

Dr. Wahaab said their choice of Kogi state was largely due to the state’s location sharing borders with 10 other states in Nigeria, as well as the current prevailing peace and security in the state, adding that he is confident this would increase. their investments in the state.

While commending the governor for ensuring peace and security in the state, Dr. Wahaab said the investment in gas plants will lead to job creation, green energy solutions, a clean environment and wealth creation for the people of the state and Nigeria in general.

Speaking of the size of the implant, Dr. Wahaab said it will cover retail distribution and end consumer equipment, noting that with a full range of capabilities, the company can provide custom designed constructions for the gas industry, to the highest quality and standards of safety The company will also establish an academy for staff training and youth empowerment.

In his reaction, Kogi state governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello revealed that the state was feasible for investor entry, noting that the insecurity that was an obstacle in the state’s industrial development wheel was a thing of the past. .

He assured the delegation of the full commitment and partnership of his administration with the company.

He noted that the state has viable manpower that the company can apply for and also support the training of young people in plant construction and fabrication.

Dr Wahaab was accompanied by Dr DIG DO Folawiyo MNI, Dr Val Igonowari, representative of AVM Nigeria and Engr Joyce Adams of Autolady Nigeria.
