Kwara Poly expels 29 students for exam errors

The students were expelled from the direction and asked to hand over all the assets of the institution in their possession.

Twenty-nine students from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, were expelled from the institution for their alleged involvement in improper practice in the exams, a statement signed by an assistant principal chancellor, Ms. Opadiran Oluwakemi, on behalf of the chancellor, Mr. Kolawole Sheye Akande, identified interested students such as Sa’ad Adebayo Yusau, John Comfort, Oladimeji Idowu Sukurat, Rauf Yakeen Olanrewaju, Abdulfatai Akeem Alabi, Akinola Oluwatosin Bolaji, Daramola Omotola Racheal, and Oladipo Adeola. Others are; Sheu Qudus Damilare, Amode Iyanuoluwa Damilare, Olugbenga Micheal Toyin, Fagbohun Olasunkanmi Joel, Kabiru Lukman Temitope, Babayemi Adeyemi Joseph, Adeyemi John Abayomi, Raji Adisa Mohammed, Balogun AbdulQuadri Oldean Olaide and Tatiwo arewo; Peter. Shuaib Hammed Oladimeji, Abdulrasaq Saheed Olamilekan, Abdulwasiu Saminu O? Arewaju, Lawal Quadri Damilola, Daramola Omotola Racheal, Lawal Oyindamola Mariam, Yakeen Taofiq Tope and Abdulganiyu Sofiyullahi Taiye.“Remember your involvement and process in the case of alleged negligence in the exams against you, contrary to the matriculation oath you swore to, ”The statement reads.“Consequently, the Governing Council of the Kwara State Polytechnic took into consideration the report of the Faculty Board on the case and approved your immediate expulsion from the Polytechnic” Your expulsion is in line with the provisions of the Information Manual and student regulation revised 2019 “You, therefore, have ceased to be a student of the Politecnico and must deliver all the assets of the Politecnico in your possession to your Head of Department or to the competent Politecnico authority,”The statement therefore advised interested students to strictly abide by the directive to avoid controversy.
