Lagos police arrest 19 sectarian suspects in Alacuco
Lagos State Police Commissioner Hakim Odumosu once again reiterated his vow to suppress any illegal and hooligan activity in Lagos State.

The Chief of Police filed an application today, Monday, February 8, 2021, discussing security issues with district commanders and commanders of the mobile police force in Lagos State.
The meeting focused on the general security and public safety of the state of Lagos, as the command recorded some illegal actions in some areas of the state.
He warned motorcycle riders, commercial drivers and Lagos residents in general to abide by state laws and refrain from targeting police and other security personnel who comply with Lagos State traffic rules and COVID-19 safety protocols. He stressed that the command will continue to carry out its duties impartially and impartially.

In response to ongoing cult-related brawls in the Alacuco, Dalemo and Cola districts, the police chief confirmed the arrest of nineteen (19) sectarian suspects during the crisis. Items found included dangerous weapons, various knickknacks and suspicious weeds.

The Police Commissioner made it clear that intelligence in command showed that thugs came from the Ott axis of Ogun State to lay siege to border communities affected by cult crises and were rejected by the command. He also ordered the transfer of the arrested suspects to the State Criminal Investigation Department of Panti, Yaba for a secret investigation.
However, KP Hakim Odumosu called on community leaders to support the police in fighting crises and eliminating bad guys and their antics in their neighborhoods and the state as a whole. He assured that the command is working diligently with the Ogun State Police Command to eradicate thugs and cultists in border areas and cities across the state.
