“The state government has spent enormous resources and funds on landscaping, painting, rebranding, redeveloping and generally lifting the center line of Lagos Island’s CBD to provide a peaceful and supportive environment for businesses to thrive. Therefore, we ask stakeholders to work with the state government and see CBD as a permanent partner, ”said Oyerinde.

He recalled that the creation of central business districts by former Honorary Governor Asivaju Bola Tinubu in 200 highlighted the true business and investment potential inherent in the central business district and the need to address the challenges of maintaining infrastructure within business districts.
