Lai Mohammed refuses to comment on #EndSARS frontliner account freeze

On Wednesday, November 11, Information and Culture Minister Lai Mohammed said he could not comment on why the bank accounts of the #EndSARS frontliners were frozen.

When reporters approached him after a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), which was held in the council rooms of the presidential mansion in Abuja, the minister was asked about “the reasons for the blocking of the bank accounts of some Key #EndSARS protesters and what the government wants from peaceful rallies”. said he did not need to comment on the matter because the Judicial Investigation Commission, set up to investigate police brutality and extrajudicial executions, had begun work across the country.
