LASEMA saves a man who tried to commit suicide by jumping to death
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has saved a man who tried to commit suicide at a national bus stop, Ikeja, IgbereTV reported.

LASEMA CEO, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanintolu, told reporters about it. He said the man fell from a height while attempting suicide on Saturday, February 6, and the emergency services received a distress call.
He said, “At around 9:50 am, we received a distress signal about a man who allegedly tried to commit suicide at the Ikeja national bus stop.
“This led to the immediate activation of our rescuers at the scene.”
He said that when his team arrived at the scene, they encountered an adult male who had an open laceration in the heel of his left foot.
Oke-Osanintolu said the victim is suspected of having the distal end of the right tibia fracture due to alcohol intoxication and attempted suicide.
“At the scene, information was collected that an adult man fell from above, preparing to attempt suicide.
“Safety was ensured on the spot, the wound was washed, the victim was assessed, and the vital organs were checked with a BP of 130/80 mm Hg. St., PR 92 beats / min, RR 22 imp / min, spo2 92%, GC 15.
“Oxygen was injected through a nasal cannula in a volume of 4 liters for 45 minutes, and his bleeding was stopped, and he was injected with 1 ml of diclofenac 75 mg, and he was also given a liter of saline.”

He said the man was immediately taken to Ikeji General Hospital, where he is being treated.
