Lied under oath: Victor Mela, Member of the Court’s House of Representatives
The Magistrates’ Court in Woos, Zone 6, Abuja, found Rep. Victor Mel guilty of lying under oath while filing INEC CD001 form ahead of the 2019 elections.
The legislator representing the Billiri / Balanga federal district in Gombe state was sentenced to prosecution by the FCT police.
However, the prime minister set a different date for the legislator’s decision after his lawyer asked for a pardon.
