Like #EndSARS, Angolans start protests against police brutality
A week after Nigerians took to the streets to protest police brutality and extrajudicial killings, Angola followed suit.
Covid-19 has arrived and reversed normal processes, forcing most of them to change lifestyles, increasing poverty levels and, unfortunately, widening the gap between governments and citizens, especially in Africa.
Similar to #EndSARS in Nigeria, Angola also says no police brutality
Dozens of citizens came out of their homes to the streets to protest police brutality with placards.
Like Nigerians, Angolans are actively using social media, primarily Twitter, to talk about atrocities.
