Militants storm Abuja and kidnap a 24-year-old man from his home at night

24-year-old man Abdulalif Yusuf Bamidele was kidnapped by militants in the federal capital, TheCable reports.

The incident occurred early Friday morning in Guidna, Kubwa, a community that is part of the FCT Bwari District Council.

The Abuja National Youth Services Corps (NYSC) orientation camp is located near Guidna.

Speaking to TheCable on Friday, Bamidele’s mother, Fasuat Yusuf, said the kidnappers attacked their home at 1:25 a.m. after climbing over a fence.

Yusuf said that despite requests for money, the abductors – about four people – kidnapped Bamidele.

“They went to the window and said they needed money, they said that we should open the door, that if we don’t open the door, what they will do will be worse,” he said.

“After we put them in the house, they said, ‘Where is the money? “When I brought the money from my two-day sales, they said it wasn’t enough, they said,” It’s not enough. “

Yusuf said that the kidnappers tried to take her away, but when she was unable to climb the fence, they chose her son.

“They caught me, but I could not climb the fence, so they came back for my son,” she said.

When contacted by Miriam Yusuf, spokesman for the PKT police department, she told TheCable that they were aware of the incident and were working to rescue it.

“The police are making every effort to rescue the victim. We started the operation, ”Yusuf said.
