Three alleged thieves confronted their waterloo when an angry mob sentenced them to death in the Calabar South local government area in Cross River State.

It turned out that the suspects were lynched with car tires at various points in the city on Sunday evening, January 10.
According to eyewitnesses, one of the suspects was burned alive in Atu from Palm Street, the second was on Main Avenue from Inyang, and the third suspect was set on fire in Efio Anwan Street in Anantiga, South Calabar.
“He went to steal from another place, so he was captured and taken to Ata from Palm Street, where he lived, and burned alive. Use the master key to break into people’s homes and shops and steal. You can see the keys next to his charred body. “Said the witness.
The tricycle operator, who spoke anonymously, told Paradise News Calabar that the suspect, who was burned to death on Mains Avenue by Inyang, was a commercial cyclist.
“He was driving Keke Nepep, suddenly stopped. I don’t know if he was stealing, ”he added.
According to local residents, the lynched suspect in Efio-Anwan lived in the area and was known for stealing.
It became known that he was detained by the police several times. Every time he was released, he bragged and continued to steal.
