Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Mohammed Bello Adoke said he had contracted COVID-19.
Former Justice Minister Adoke said he went to Dubai for treatment in the United Arab Emirates.
An asymptomatic course was also revealed.
He said; “Two days before my return trip to Nigeria, I passed the mandatory COVID-19 test. Once on a trip, I got the result. This was positive, although I had no symptoms. Immediately, I began self-isolation as required by the protocol.
“However, I still have no symptoms. I don’t have a high fever, I don’t cough, my breathing is normal.
“I can taste and smell. Also, my oxygen level and blood pressure are normal. I am very grateful to God.
“Soon I will have to take another test to see if I am COVID free so that I can return to Nigeria.
“I implore Nigerians to take this disease seriously. You can’t be too careful. We follow the recommendations of the government. May God protect us from this plague. “
