National Assembly hands over 13.5 trillion won budget to Bukhari
The National Assembly has handed over to President Major General Muhammad Bukhari (retired) a $ 13.5 trillion bill for 2021.

Senator Babajide Omovorare, Senior Special Assistant to the President for the National Assembly (Senate), gave a short text message to The PUNCH on Monday.
Omovorare said: “The Appropriations Act has been submitted by the National Assembly to the President in accordance with the provisions of Article 59 of the Constitution. The bill is currently under consideration by the President and appropriate measures will be taken in due course. “
The National Assembly approved the budget at an extraordinary meeting last Monday.
The budget approved by the National Assembly includes full capital integration N1. 06 trillion, total capital expenditures 4.1 trillion, compulsory transfers 496 billion and operating expenses 5.6 trillion.
The budget bill approved by the National Assembly also included the amount of N3. 3tn for debt service.
The budget estimate was increased by N 505 billion from the estimate N 13, 082, 420, 568, 233, submitted to the Bukhari National Assembly on October 8, 2020.
