NDLEA Unveils Major Updates for Verification and Recruitment in 2021
The National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has updated applicants from previously announced screening of successful candidates.

The agency on Monday announced a suspension of ongoing inspections. We recall that Federation Attorney General and Justice Minister Abubakar Malami ordered the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to suspend screening of 5,000 new employees.
According to him, this was due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. An NDLEA spokesman, deputy chief of the anti-narcotics division John Ahem, said on Monday that the suspension was based on strict adherence to directives from Justice Minister Mallam Abubakar Mallamy, SAN.
“The agency stands ready to seek advice from the President’s COVID-19 Task Force on the public health implications of such an event, especially regarding the adequacy and ability to adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocols.” The verification team was ordered to suspend all activities and immediately return to the national headquarters in Abuja for further information.
“There will be no prejudice against candidates who showed up for the screening or did not do it,”‘ He added.
