New Scam At Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos By Patrick Nwafor

Nigerian Twitter user @patricknwaforr shared his bitter experience at Lagos International Airport, Murtala Mohammed.

NEW SCAM AT THE AIRPORT !!! (MMA, Lagos)

I was at the airport recently, and due to not stepping on the ground since the beginning of COVID19, I first headed for the usual “departure” U-turn to ask for the correct direction.

I politely asked the FRSC spokesman for directions to Arrival.

I also explained in detail that I wanted to select someone, and he directed me to where the New Arrivals Park used to be.

When I arrived, I noticed that it was a little dark, but the cars were parked.

As a normal Naya now, I felt that NEPA was doing its job as usual.

I passed the gate, which was open, and several mechanical-looking guys were standing at the side repairing a damaged car.

“NONE OF THEM HEARED OR STOPPED ME.”

Then I met another official who kindly told me that New Arrival was no longer working and that I needed to return.

I just have to.

On the way back, I noticed that the gate I had just passed was now closed, and these mechanic guys jumped out and asked me to leave.

ahan ..

As a calm boy, I explained that this was the wrong direction from the FRSC representative, and his colleague corrected me.

These guys got stuck in my tires and drove a tow truck in front of my car.

I swear it happened in 30 seconds!

Man: “50k if you tow a car”

Me: But now there was no sign, how would people know that this is one way?

2nd Tow Guy: Oha, let’s go to our office

I was sad to the point where I realized the argument would not pay off as they were determined to flatten my tire or tow my car to God knows where.

My sister will be there in 10 minutes! ‍♂️ ‍♂️

I let them drive.

Abi is the money you want to raise, not wahala.

We passed the toll booth and drove past @ExecuJetAvGrp.

It was about 7.50 pm.

Arriving there, they asked me to pay 10,500 NGN.

I have paid.

During the entire transaction, I saw about 12 other innocent people like me.

I mean,
RELIABLE VISITING THE AIRPORT TODAY !!!!

No signs or warnings indicating the direction of travel or any restrictions!

Just a few guys in the blue tools in the workshop.

Then I realized that this is a COLLABORATIVE SCAM between the officials of @FRSCNigeria and these guys who claim to work for @FAAN_Official !!!!

First, they mislead you.
So they guide you
Then these guys will catch you before you even have time to say JACK!

The airport (at night) looks like a war zone under construction.

No lights!
No signs!
Obstacles and long tags everywhere!
Clueless staff everywhere!

I’m sorry because this is ILLEGAL and WRONG!
Especially for people who have no idea about the new design of the airport.

In my observation, most of the victims received visitors almost simultaneously with their capture!

So it was more like emotional blackmail.

You will pay whatever you want to avoid delays or strange events for people entering the country at such times.

IJGB have already passed:
-Naya warm
– Smelly airport
-Annidanti customs officers
– Situation “no trolleybus”

The list goes on and on.

Well, this line is for everyone getting to the airport early.

Go to the parking lot and walk if necessary.

On the other hand, @FAAN_Official Enlighten me please:
– Why are there not enough signs during construction?
– Who are these people from Blue Workshop Gear who work under your nose? Do they work for you?
