Newborn, 5 more people died when bandits shot motorists on the Kaduna-Birnin-Gvari road
Six people, including a child and three family members, were killed in a horrific accident when gunmen opened fire on vehicles on the Kaduna-Birnin-Gvari road, IgbereTV reported.

Kaduna State Commissioner for Homeland Security and Home Affairs Samuel Aruwan, who said so in a statement released on Friday, said that militants who had fled aggressive security patrols in the Birnin Gwari area had taken the highway around Ungwan Dangedd and retreating, they shot several cars.
“The driver of a commercial vehicle was hit and lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over several times before stopping. Then the bandits left this place, “Aruvan said.
Six people died at the crash site. They were identified as Abdurrashid Yau, Saidu Yau, Ramatu Yau and an unidentified child. Others are Suwayba Ali, Suleiman Ustaz.
The following people were injured in a different vehicle: Uballe Yahuza, Rabiu Ibrahim, Umar Musa, Saude Yusuf, Mohammed Aminu and Kadima Mersey.
Meanwhile, Governor Nasir el-Rufai expressed regret over the message and prayed for the deceased souls of those killed in the plane crash, expressing condolences to their families. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the wounded.
