Nigerian army arrested soldier for pleading with colleagues not to shoot protesters #EndSARS

A Nigerian soldier, Corporal Harrison Friday, who donned a hood on Friday and pleaded with his fellow soldiers not to kill #EndSARS protesters, was arrested by the Nigerian army.

He filmed a video pleading with his colleagues not to shoot #EndSARS protesters, even if ordered.

However, in a post on his Twitter this morning on October 21, the Nigerian military claims that Harrison committed “cybercrime” and is now under arrest.

The tweet says:

The hooded soldier was arrested.

A hooded soldier hiding behind a mask to commit cybercrime has been arrested during ongoing cyber operations in support of Operation smile VI. Rest assured, criminals have no cover.

As a reminder, yesterday soldiers invaded the toll station in Lekki and killed the #EndSARS demonstrators.

However, the Nigerians attacked the army for arresting Harrison, calling him a hero.
