This may seem like a really exciting development: some young Nigerians donated money to a peanut seller.
A group of Nigerian youths protested police brutality outside a toll station in Lekki when they reportedly raised more than 2 million N for an elderly woman mowing peanuts.
According to Twitter user @sama_on_point, who shared the report, he first said that the youth donated $ 500,000 to a woman on the protest field before thanking Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu for his large donation.
A few hours later, he provided further information that the donation to the peanut seller had been increased to N2,350,000.
