A couple from Nigeria shared on social media how they held a wedding reception,

The couple are currently aiming to host a simple reception with a few friends online after exchanging vows in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.

The couple’s friend, Mr Alayi, posted photos of the church ceremony and reception held under a canopy with a table in the courtyard on Thursday, December 24, 2020.

The church ceremony was attended by only one friend and one child, while the simple reception was attended by about seven friends. There were no asoeb, bridesmaids, grooms, the glitz and glamor of typical Nigerian weddings.
