No one can match the nomination for Tinubu – Monarchs of Ogun
Olu Ilaro and Supreme Ruler of Yewaland Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, and Alake and Supreme Ruler of Egbaland Oba Adedotun Gbadebo on Monday pledged their support for the 2023 Southwest Agenda Vision to promote Senator Ahmed Bola’s candidacy for Tinubu Senator Ahmed Bola to the success of President Muhammad Bukhari.

The monarchs, who were performing in their palaces when members of the group paid them a courtesy visit, described Tinuba as the best choice from the southwestern part of the country to succeed President Bukhari in 2023.
Oba Olugbenle said his support for the former governor of Lagos state is apolitical, adding that Tinubu is the most qualified candidate a political party in the Southwest can boast.
He argued that the Southwest would not be able to nominate another suitable candidate, like Tinubu, for the 2023 presidential race.
Olugbenle, while pledging his support for SWAGA, stressed that the APC leader’s contribution to the growth and development of Nigeria as a nation is unmatched, stating that he possesses the insight, tenacity and experience required to govern the country.
His words: “His legacy as a former governor of Lagos state may indicate that he is the most qualified for the job.”
“When he was governor of Lagos State, he laid the foundation upon which all his successors are building, making the state a force to be reckoned with in the country.”
“This is not a party. This is the product we are presenting. He is the best person any party in the south can represent. Not about APC or any other party, but about national development.
For his part, Egbaland’s Alake, Oba Gbadebo, expressed confidence that the group will succeed in his post, noting that he had long envisioned an AKN leader as president.
SWAGA national leader Senator Dayo Adeye described how the group is acting as a strictly voluntary and self-funded body with the goal of getting Tinuba to fight for the presidency in 2023.
The delegation of the main rulers included Dayo Adeyaye, President of SWAGA 23, Hon Bosun Oladele, Secretary, Hpn. Rotimi Makinde, Hon Ojo, Senator Obadara, Chair of the Central Labor Committee of Ogun State, Arch Danny Opayemi, Suraj Adekunbi Ishola and Hon Abiodun Ishiak Akinlade, SWAGA 23 Coordinators of Ogun State.
