The Nigeria Security and Civil Protection Corps fired one of its officers, Corps Assistant Illya Ibrahim from the Gwagwalada unit in Abuja, for his involvement in the looting of COVID-19 palliatives found in a warehouse in Gwagwalada, Abuja, IgbereTV reported.
On Monday, the crowd rushed into the warehouse and took the palliatives. The video, which was circulated on social media, showed that the officer himself took the palliative.
