Ogun accepts buses with ICT

In an effort to modernize and improve the efficiency of the state’s transport sector, the Ogun regional government has taken over the delivery of new large-capacity buses equipped with state-of-the-art technological capabilities.

The new buses, which were the first batch, have better capacity and reliability than the conventional bus system to provide passengers with a safe, economical, fast and enjoyable journey.

Accepting the delivery of buses on Tuesday, State Transport Commissioner Gbenga Dairo said it signaled the administration’s commitment and willingness, led by Dapo Abiodun, to strengthen the local economy through transport development. Thus, jobs are created in the value chain in the transportation system.

The public bus transport scheme was part of a focused government effort to modernize and improve efficiency in the transport sector, as outlined in its urban renewal program.

“This is a commendable fulfillment of a promise made two weeks ago by Governor Dapo Abiodun. It is also encouraging news for the good people of Ogun State regarding the start of the state’s public bus regime. “

“It is important to note that this scheme is designed to make transportation more accessible, cheaper and safer by creating more jobs and boosting the state’s economy without leaving people out of work,” Dyro said.
