Parallel elections in Ohanaez were held in Imo as Obiozor, Ibeh returned as President
In two separate elections held in a row on Saturday and Sunday in Imo state, Chidi Ibeh and George Obiozor became President General Ohanaese Ndigbo.

DAILY POST reports that Chidi, a former Commissioner in Imo State, was the winner of the main socio-cultural group, which was held on Saturday at a secret location.
The faction’s general chairman was promoted alongside Dimm Uche Okwukwu and Okechukwu Ishiguzoro as deputy general director and general secretary, respectively.
Sources say Chidi Ibeh is from the camp of former governor Rochas Okoroch, who previously opposed the consensus agreement passed by Senator Hope Uzodinma.
In a similar exercise held on Sunday at Dan Anyam Stadium, George Obiozor, who was allegedly the consensus candidate for the seat, cast 304 votes and took first place among two other contenders, Valentina Oparaocha and Uju Okoro, who voted 15 and 3 votes respectively. …
Obinvali Ikhunwo from Rivers State was returned without objection to the post of Vice President Ohanese Ndigbo.
DAILY POST also learned that while Obiozor’s elections were chaired by the Gary Ygarivay committee, the Rojas Okoroca camp elections were chaired by a committee chaired by Prince Richard Ozobu.
