Passengers in wheelbarrows were taken to the Rumuokoro overpass in Port Harcourt.
Following the ongoing closure of the Okoro Nu Odu (Rumuokoro) overpass in Port Harcourt, a few weeks after its completion, passengers are now resorting to being pushed onto carts and wheelbarrows for the N100.
This is due to the fact that the distance of over 1 km is open only for trekking. So if you are feeling weak and unable to walk, some cheaters (mostly northerners) are willing to drive you in their cars for N50 and N100, depending on how far they take you.
It will be interesting for you to note that the flyover has been completed since early January 2021, but remains closed to motorists as Governor Vike has not yet commissioned it.
