Photos of Nigerian soldiers guarding and helping the Zabarmari people as they harvest their agricultural produce.
Nigerian soldiers were seen protecting farmers during the harvest in Borno state.

Facebook user Bello Inua Anka posted photos of Nigerian soldiers guarding and helping people from the Zabarmari farming community in the Jere de Borno local government area on Friday, December 11, as they harvest produce from their farms in the village of Koshebe. …
This came just weeks after Boko Haram terrorists killed more than 43 Zabarmari rice farmers in Koshebe village, Mafa local government district, in the state while working in rice fields.
While many praised the military for their efforts, they nonetheless argued that protecting farmers was ineffective.

Another Facebook user, Hadiza Suleiman, wrote: “This is good, but not likely to be sustainable. The military must act proactively and not react.
“They should take offensive action against terrorists, not wait for their attack. The United States could save one of its citizens in Nigeria using intelligence that I hope is also available in this security age. ”
