Pickpocket arrested, soldier fired for robbery in Lagos
The man who was looting pocket money along with a fired soldier who drove out unsuspecting people from their belongings collided with waterloo when they were both arrested by Lagos State Police officers.

A 27-year-old pickpocket named Ayomide Sikiru reportedly revealed that he has stolen 240 cell phones from Lagos residents since he started his business a year and two months ago.
However, the fired soldier was arrested in another operation while in the company of Aguda Axis, an accomplice who was robbing the residents of Lagos.
Pickpocket, 27-year-old Ayomide Sikiru, a resident of Akala, Mushin, was arrested on Sunday around 10pm after successfully picking up Tecno Camon 12 from an elderly woman’s bag while trying to board a commercial bus in Ojodu Berger, Lagos.
Sikiru, who said it took him 15 days to find out about the crime, said he only acted Thursday through Saturday.
Her methods of work included boarding the bus and taking phones out of women’s or men’s pockets.
But luck met him after he ran into the owner of the phone.
During interrogation, he said:
“I live in Akala, Mushin. I am not using charm. Someone taught me how to steal. I followed him for 15 days and watched him do it until I was perfect. I only worked at night, sometimes when passengers were sleeping on the bus or rushing to the commercial bus. I stole 240 phones. I sell to ready-made buyers. “
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Olumuywa Adejobi, who confirmed the arrest, said the phones were handed over to the owners.
