President Bukhari spoke about Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine with 90% efficacy, stating that it should be available in all countries.
The Covid-19 vaccine, developed by pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and German biotechnology company BioNTech, is 90% more effective.
The discovery is the result of the first independent review of any Covid-19 vaccine in phase 3 trials, the final phase before commercial licensing. Of the 43,000 study participants, the small number of those infected allowed independent evaluators to calculate efficacy after two doses.
