The chief overseer of the Church of God of the Redeemed Christians, Enoch Adeboye, has ordered all pastors in his churches across the country to suspend all plans for the night service of the Cross from December 31 to January 1.
The essence of the cross at night is to pray and seek the face of God at the beginning of the new year.
Announcing the cancellation during Sunday service today, December 27, 2020, RCCG Breakthrough Ward Pastor Ilorin, Pastor Olaguncu, said the directive came from the God-redeemed Overseer General of the EA Christian Church, Adeba.
Pastor Olaguncu, in a statement, advised all members to tune in to Dove TV to watch the cross this year at night, while those without a TV or electricity can watch the cross on their phones at night. “To avoid unnecessary embarrassment, it is advisable to observe the law.”– he concluded.
