Representatives tell the military to issue certificates to 15 fired NDA cadets

The Defense Committee of the House of Representatives urged the Nigerian military to issue certificates to 15 cadets of the Nigerian Defense Academy, Afaka, in Kaduna State, who have been fired for alleged infringements.

The appeal was launched on Wednesday November 10 by House Defense Committee chairman Babajimi Benson (APC, Lagos) when the Nigerian Defense Academy appeared in defense of its 2022 budget.

Benson said the certificates will help them pursue other efforts outside the military. He said;

“Cadets were fired on the basis of infractions; we are appealing for them to receive their certificates so that they can pursue other efforts outside the military.

“The withdrawal of their certificates in its entirety makes them vulnerable.”

The 15 cadets fired are DJ Mohammed, YY Bello, DO Adebayo, DC Obioha and U. Zakariyya, all naval cadets; AH Timson, HO Mohammed and I. Salisu, Air Force, as well as A. Yusuf, AO Akiri, EY El Nathan, EA Emmanuel, US Zango, US Kashim and AA Oyebanjo, army.
