Sanai Agunbiad: I wanted to share the stolen palliatives for my birthday
MP Sanai Agunbiade, aka SOB, reacted to the invasion of his residence by thugs.
Agunbiad is the majority leader in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
On Friday, an angry mob broke into his home in Ikoroda and collected palliatives from COVID-19.
Agunbiad (Ikorodu Ward 1) in a statement on Saturday described the incident as a planned attack.
The deputy said that he had received intelligence reports on the “plan for his destruction”, but regarded this as unfounded rumors.
The head of All Progressives Congress (APC) added that palliatives will be rolled out on Sunday, his birthday.
A member of the meeting recalled that in the midst of the pandemic, he personally handed out palliatives to his voters more than three times.
“On my birthday, October 25, 2020, I sent through my media team my intention to support 50 widows who had already been nominated by various groups in a program called Widow’s Tick for Widows, and to spread to some vulnerable and disadvantaged people in three local councils in my constituency, some palliative materials have been donated by the state and federal governments, as well as myself. “
Agunbiad reported that the same items were stolen from his home.
“The barbaric Friday event, however, is shocking, but like a dolphin who is happy even in the midst of giant waves and terrible storms, I am resilient, and my faith in God’s mercy and grace is very fat. Of course, the robbers are not #Endsars protesters because the youth of Ikorodu participated in very peaceful and well coordinated protests. The perpetrators of the attack on my home are a group of intruders on a mission against my life. ”
Agunbiad regretted the theft of his certificates, family passports and other valuables.
He complained that he and his wives had looted their wardrobes.
However, Agunbiad expressed gratitude to God that not a single life was lost during the accident.
