Sanwo-Olu Goes To Self-Isolation As His Closest Assistant Tests Positive

Lagos Governor Babajide Sanvo-Olu will immediately go into self-isolation after one of his closest associates tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday (December 10).

The Governor and other members of his team will be tested by the Lagos State Biobank today, but will remain isolated until the test results are available.

We are seeing a slightly increasing number of positive COVID-19 cases in clusters in Lagos and all Lagosians must heed the prescribed warnings for safe cleaning, good hand and respiratory hygiene, and avoid unnecessary encounters.

This is not the first time Mr Governor has been tested for COVID-19. He has had at least three since May, when he announced that 10 of his employees had tested positive for the virus.
