The 50-year-old Nigerian woman proved that she is never too old to study by enrolling in Ilorin Grammar School in Kwara State.

The woman, named Ms. Ajayi Folashad, started attending Junior High School No. 2, with her children’s youngest children as classmates.
Folashade said she enrolled in the school to improve herself, adding that she hopes to inspire people her age to pursue their dreams regardless of age.
On one occasion, a woman aspiring to become a teacher asked the government to develop adult education programs so that older people wishing to return to school do not have to be with their children to study. This came after an Instagram user with username azaaa_firequeen went to her page to share a photo of her 48-year-old aunt sitting on her 2020 West African High School Final.
The woman said that her aunt, whom she named Christina Samuel, is a farmer from the village and had no previous education because she was poor and had three children from an early marriage. Christina Samuel sends her children to school, she depends solely on agriculture as a source of income.
The 48-year-old mother of three is ready to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming an assistant nurse, even if she dies of hunger, to fulfill her desire for an education.
