The promising 27-year-old Nigerian was shot and killed by unknown gunmen.
A man identified as 27-year-old Adedigba Oluwatosin was killed in the Isiohor district of Benin, Edo state.
According to Festus Alenhe, the crime reporter for the Standard Gazette, the victim worked in the press.
As it became known, the deceased was arguing with his brothers when an unknown person called him and asked to show him at the gate to his house. He apologized and went out to meet with his interlocutor.

When the family of the deceased checked the call log of his mobile phone, they found that his last caller was a woman, and concluded that the man must have been used to lure him out of the house.
The deceased’s father, Mr. Asimiyu Adedigba, told the Standard Gazette that he had petitioned the Edo State Police Commissioner to kill his son.
“I wrote a petition to the Edo State Police Commissioner asking him to instruct his people to help investigate the incident and track down my son’s killers. My son is a calm and calm person, and I wonder why they killed him; I’m sad now. “He said.
Meanwhile, it became known that the deceased was planning to buy a car a few days before the murder.
Further investigation revealed that the deceased and some of his friends had financial arrangements that did not suit both parties.
