Sen Ndume reacts to southern governors’ ban on outdoor grazing
Senator Ali Ndoume again complained about the ban by the governors of the country’s southern region from open-air grazing.
Ndume, who appeared on the channel’s television show on Thursday, May 13, said he expects southern governors to promptly propose a solution to open grazing.
He also said that all the regional governors did was go to the media and made a general statement.
“I am not worried about what they (the governors) said … I thought they would propose an immediate solution, a medium term solution, and a long term solution for open pastures.
“We have serious security problems in this country, which differ in all geopolitical zones, and I expected the governors to come together and address these issues, find the solutions they mentioned, and discuss with the president behind closed doors, as we call it. … al Senate, do not disclose information to the media and make a general statement. “
