Seyi Makinde will not leave PDP, this is fake news

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde’s chief spokesman, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, has described the viral news that the governor is ready to abandon the People’s Democratic Party as another lie invented by some enemies of progress.

Adisa called this rumor “a lie invented by fake news providers who intend to defame the governor at any cost.”

He argued that the governor had no intention of going over to the other side.

According to him, the governor has been a strong support for the NDP for many years and is already heading the mission to revive it in the Southwest.

Adisa said: “There is a fabricated lie that Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde is planning to withdraw from the NDP.

“This is the latest in a series of fake news and fake news, a weapon that some people have used to wage a futile war against the governor.

He also said that claims that the governor is going to join the ADC are false.
