Six family members kidnapped in Zamfar
Six children from Sani Gyare, who live in the village of Kadauri, Maru administrative region in Zamfara state, have been abducted by suspected bandits.

Militants invaded the community early Friday morning, according to NAN.
Gyare, the father of the kidnapped children, said he suspected the kidnappers had come after him, but left with the children when they could not find him.
“I was informed that when they arrived in the village, they went straight to my house, and when they found out that I was not at home, they left with my children and the daughter of one of my closest friends, Alhaji. Sleigh Yellow “, NAN quoted him as saying.
Shehu Mohammed, a public relations officer (PPRO) in Zamfara who confirmed the incident, said officers were currently monitoring the attackers.
“The State Police Commissioner, KP Abutu Yaro, has deployed a joint team of CTU and Mobile Police Force who are currently monitoring the suspects.” Mohammed said.
“The KP, which announced that peace has been restored in the area, promised to save the victims as soon as possible.
“He accused local communities of continuing to provide useful information to law enforcement agencies, especially the police, in order to bring criminals to justice.”
