Soldier allegedly killed truck driver on N200 in Port Harcourt (video)
On the agenda in Port Harcourt over the murder of a truck driver.
The road to Port Harcourt Airport, the capital of Rivers State, has been blocked by truck drivers to protest the alleged killing of their colleague by a soldier over the N200.
Offended truck drivers said the accident happened on Friday evening, February 19.
Truck drivers, who recalled how they fought brutality from security officials alongside Nigerian youth, said they were discouraged that these things were still happening.
They also claimed that the soldier had committed the aforementioned crime knowing full well that the goods being transported had cleared customs and were approved by the government.
Truck drivers demanding justice said they would only get off the road if the government intervened.
