Sowore dishonored and sent to Abuja #EndSARS Protest

A drama erupted at a protest site in Abuja today after #EndSars protesters sent home Nigerian activist and former presidential candidate Omoele Souore.

His attempt to plead and explain was rejected by #EndSARS protesters who did not want to hear from him. He was reportedly expelled on charges of lack of transparency and unwillingness to politicize the protest. However, he was asked to leave the protest camp as his presence was not necessary.

Recall that Sovore recently accused some people of making billions from the #EndSARS protests, but did not provide any evidence. The video, which went viral on social media, shows protesters pushing and shouting at the CEO of the news agency Sahara Reporters.

Soura, who has supported EndSARS since the beginning of the protest, was advised to show his support on social media rather than in person.
