Sunday Igboho frozen bank accounts, award rejected by young Yoruba
Yoruba activist and warlord Chief Sunday Adeyemo, commonly known as Sunday Ighoho, warned the federal government yesterday about frozen bank accounts and refused to recognize it by the Yoruba Youth Socio-Cultural Association (YYSA).

Speaking at a meeting with the leadership of the Yoruba Youth Socio-Cultural Association (YYSA) in Ibadan, Igboho claimed that all of his bank accounts were frozen by the federal government due to the fact that some people collected donations, claiming that he had no hands.
Igboho warned that his accounts must be cleared to avoid nationwide youth protests in the southwest region.
He also disapproved of those who collect donations on his behalf, saying that he never asked anyone to ask for money from the general public or seek donations.
National Association President Olalekan Hammed and National Secretary Olavale Azhao in a statement on Sunday noted that the group had
long discussion with Chief Sunday Igboho on security in Yorubaland.
The young man, who praised him for his super-patriotism, ultranationalism, extraordinary courage and passion for eliminating threats to peace in Yoruba land, however, asked the government to unblock his account before he went to war with non-criminal elements. Peaceful shepherds.
The young man presented the award to the Sunday Igboho chief in recognition of his nationalist struggle, but he refused.
Answering, Igboho said “I know that you are behind me and I appreciate my efforts, but we are only at the beginning, we first try to end crime in Yoruba land, and after achieving freedom we can now follow an elaborate awards ceremony. Thanks. I know that you are doing everything to cheer me up, I appreciate YYSA. “
Igboho accused Governor Seiya Makinda of ordering the arrest of a Fulani suspect, Iskil Wakili, who terrorized various parts of Ibarapaland in recent days.
According to him, the security forces have not yet taken any action.
“Yes, people live in fear. They are afraid that people will attack them, and a certain Isikilu Vakili is doing this. This has turned into terror and authority in the area, and nothing is being done to rectify the situation.
“We heard about this two months ago and, as I said, nothing has been done to solve this problem. If the governor hears that Vakili is killing our people, stalking and robbing their farm, but doing little or nothing is sad. We expected the governor to instruct the security forces to expel him, but practically no action is being taken, ”he said.
While the association complained about the actions of the shepherds who refused to vacate the forest reserves of Ondo State after the ultimatum, the chief
Sanday Igboho said: “Let the Ondo state invite me, and you will see if they still remain in these forests.
“I am ready to fight with mortal shepherds, but I needed the permission of the rulers”, He added.
