Babajide Sanvo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, has once again revised the state’s curfew that was imposed to contain civil unrest following the #EndSARS protests against police brutality.
Recall that Sanwo-Olu canceled the 24-hour curfew on Friday from 18:00 to 8:00.
But in Sunday night’s notice from Information and Strategy Commissioner Gbenga Omotoso, the governor said the curfew is now from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, which means residents can leave. 6:00 and go home until 20:00.
The Commissioner said: “The curfew in Lagos State has been revised. The time limit is now from 20:00 to 6:00.
“Residents of Lagosyan are encouraged to plan their travel time by doing legal business. Public schools are closed until further notice. “
