Those building the bridge are illegal loggers, Akinoshi said, using it to easily transport stolen state-owned forest resources to other states.
He threatened to arrest and prosecute settlers possessing illegal weapons for crimes in the area, but said the bridge must have gobbled up between $ 15 million and $ 20 million.
He added that armed soldiers will continue to participate in frequent observation drills to prevent banditry that is spreading across the country.
