One of the controversial figures who claimed that no one died at Lekki’s shooting, Kemi Olunloyo insisted that the dead will not haunt her. It reacted following the release of the Lagos judicial panel report stating that there was a massacre at the toll booth.
The controversial reporter had boldly declared after the accident on 20 October last year that no one had died during the accident at the Lekki toll booth. She claimed that after conducting extensive research, she came to the conclusion that no one was killed, so no family came to give the names of their relatives who died in the assault.
However, the Lagos jury proved Olunloyo wrong after publishing a full list of people who died, missing and injured as a result of the shooting. Kemi Olunloyo in a series of tweets insisted that she did not find the body and will not be haunted by the souls of the victims killed in the shooting at the Lekki Toll Gate. In his words:
“The souls of anyone who died at # LekkiMassacre2020 will never haunt me. I wasn’t part of the amusement park protest you organized there. I was watching the army and chasing the bodies because unarmed protesters are not allowed to shoot, let alone take the bodies away. I FOUND NO BODY. ”“ I HAS BEEN TRACKING BODIES FROM 22:11 on 20 October 2020 to 2 morgues but no one was focused. I didn’t find any bodies. I am VINDICATEDNow you know. Make a petition to the International Criminal Court against Burutai, Adamu and Commander-in-Chief Buhari ”.
