The story of an envious wife who poisoned her stepson in Osuna
According to Vanguard, Abdulvasiu Musa, the husband of the woman who poisoned her 3-year-old son, spoke out about the matter.
He told Vanguard how jealousy led to his wife’s actions.
Unfortunately, the action cost the child his life.
Before the unfortunate accident, the family lived together. Mariam, an elderly wife from Benin in Edo State, attended her youngest wife’s graduation party after completing her hairdressing training.
On that day, Mariam, the youngest wife and husband, were in their rooms when she decided to pass laws by offering her stepson a drink made with herbicide.
According to her husband, the four of us were at home when the accident happened.
Talking to Vanguard, Musa said, “Rokib came into the room and told me that his stepmother, Mariam, gave him a drink, but I never suspected foul play until the boy later fell ill.
“Seeing the suffering that the boy underwent; he called me and confessed that the drink he gave him was poisonous as it contained herbicides.
“I never thought she could, she lives in Benin, Edo, where she did her business, and she came from there to attend the graduation ceremony of her youngest wife.
“He always plays with the boy, so there was no suspicion that he could poison him until he admitted it.
“I don’t think I treated her differently, she doesn’t live here in Ed, but she has her own room in the house; and I am also responsible to him. “
