The young man who brutally murdered his parents and two brothers finally confessed.

The tragic accident occurred in the Karura area, in Kiambu County, Kenya.

A 22-year-old computer science student named Lawrence Simon Varunj was arrested on Friday January 8 as the prime suspect in an accident after a three-day hunt.

Police said they arrested a son named Lawrence after he disappeared since Tuesday when his parents, two brothers and a worker were brutally murdered at their home in the Kiambaa constituency.

After being arrested, he later confessed to the incident and took the police to a residence in Mai Mahiu on Saturday, where they found the murder weapon, a kitchen knife, clothes, shoes and a piece of paper.

He threw the artifacts into the restroom. The police dug the toilet wall and used ropes to retrieve artifacts from a 20-foot deep hole.

He also took the police to an open field in the same area where he said he burned some evidence.

Lawrence claims to have killed the five alone, but police said they admit the possibility of other players being present.

The most frightening part is where Lawrence said that he caught up with his father, Nicholas Nyenga Varunga, when he ran away from him, breaking his leg after jumping from a balcony.
