Thieves invade Anambra community, take MTN gift from Ngiga
The suspected armed robbers invaded the Alor community in the Idemmili local government area, Anambra state, and stole a newly installed water pump at their primary health center.

Mobile giant MTN Nigeria, which brought the Sun together on Saturday, drilled a well at a clinic led by Labor and Employment Minister Dr. Chris Ngige, to whom they donated the project.
Talking about what happened during the annual general meeting called by the Alora People’s Assembly (APA), Ngige told his relatives that MTN offered to drill a well near his home, but directed them to a clinic.
“MTN Nigeria wanted to give me a well. They said they would find him in the area of my village; my town square. But I said, “No, find it for me at the community health center.” This is their corporate social responsibility.
“They built it at the clinic as I ordered. They checked that too. But do you know what happened? The day I went to report a free medical program I sponsored at the clinic, I was told that thieves had stolen a sumo (water pump).
“The well was built about three months ago. There was no water in the hospital. I had to buy water. I provided the health center with plenty of water for the program. The nurses told me that not a single security officer was working in the hospital, ”complains Ngige.
