Shepherds raiders reportedly raided a village that had been closed in Eggua in Oja Odan around 11:00 pm on Friday, opened fire indiscriminately and set fire to three houses and warehouses in the village.
A mother and her son were among three people killed in their huts, while two people were in critical condition after being killed by shepherds.

Akorede said two villagers, a man and a woman, were taken to a nearby hospital after being shot and wounded.
The village headman said, “Several Fulani shepherds invaded our village last night. When they arrived, they set fire to several houses and fired sporadically, shooting the child in which he was hiding.
“They stabbed a mother and her son to death. I counted three corpses, two were taken to the hospital, they are in critical condition after death.
“They didn’t come with their livestock to the pasture. They just stormed the village, killed people and destroyed a lot of property.
“Three houses and a commercial bus were set on fire. Even the silos were burned with grain. “
