Three trucks exploded in Ondo, three fear death
There are concerns that THREE people have died in Akungba, the southwestern Akoko metropolitan area of Ondo state, in a three-truck accident.

Several other people were reportedly injured in the accident on the Lkare / Ovo highway.
Three trucks caught fire in the collision.
Recall that a similar incident, which resulted in the death of 16 people, occurred in the same village more than a month ago.
One of the trucks, according to an eyewitness, was loaded with bags of cement, while the other two were loaded with gifts, bags of frozen fish and chicken.
Vanguard has determined that the accident occurred on Okerigbo Hill, near the main gate of Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba.

It became known that at once one of the trucks crashed into two others, caught fire, and the people in the trucks died.
Sources said the driver of one of the trucks, who was driving at high speed, lost control due to brake failure and crashed into other stationary trucks.
He said that “the accident happened tonight and the cars burned for several hours because there were no firemen to put out the fire.”
The identities of the victims involved in the incident were not known at the time of the report, but sources say many have passed by.
The commander of the Icare unit of the Federal Highway Traffic Safety Commission, Kabir Mohammed, said the cause of the accident had not been established at the time of this report.
